Noah Centineo will pretend to be your boyfriend in Netflix’s upcoming romantic comedy

Noah Centineo continues to cement his ultimate-internet-boyfriend status. The To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before actor will star in Netflix’s upcoming romantic comedy, The Perfect Date, opposite Riverdale’s Camila Mendes and Lady Bird’s Laura Marano. The streaming giant shared a first look at the rom-com on Instagram on January 11th. “Very Important Announcement Alert,” Netflix wrote. “@ncentineo will pretend to be your boyfriend this summer!”

The Perfect Date follows Brooks Rattigan (Centineo), an “enterprising young man” who creates a dating app to raise money for college. Brooks serves as a “stand in” for non-existent boyfriends (and from the looks of the preview, Mendes and Marano’s characters appear to be utilizing his services). However, courting different women appears to have its drawbacks, as “playing a different character every night of the week leads him to question who he really is…and who he wants to be with.”

Centineo is officially one busy guy. The To All the Boys sequel was officially announced in December, and Lana Condor and Centineo will reprise their roles as Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky.

The Perfect Date does not have a specific summer release date yet, but we will update this article accordingly to quench your thirst when it does.
