Your internet boyfriend Noah Centineo is officially joining the Charlie’s Angels reboot
Noah Centineo is officially shifting from rom-com to action star, because The Sierra Burgess is a Loser actor will be joining the Charlie’s Angels reboot. Variety reports that Centineo will join Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska in the film, and that he’ll play one of the Angel’s love interests. The Hunger Games alum Elizabeth Banks is set to direct (as well as play a female Bosley).
News of the Charlie’s Angels reboot broke earlier this year. In an interview with Variety in September, Lizzie actress Kristen Stewart described the modern remake as a “woke version.” Stewart told Variety,
“There’s a kitsch nature to the last ones that was super fun. But nowadays, if you see a woman in combat, everything should be completely and utterly within their ability.
Stewart added that the film would feature a network of Angels beyond the core three. “It’s not just three. Women across the entire globe are connected and helping each other.”
Centineo gained prominence (and official internet boyfriend status) for his role as Peter Kavinsky in the Netflix summer romance To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, which was adapted from a novel by Jenny Han. He starred opposite Lana Condor.
