Nina Dobrev does the splits with Conan O’Brien — and pranks him!

Nina Dobrev has been making us bite our lips with her exciting performance biting necks on The Vampire Diaries since 2009, but this sixth season is the star’s last with the show. She’s moving on to other, surely also wonderful, things. In the meantime, Nina’s dropping gems for us to cherish while we fear her final days on the show. She told Self magazine, “It’s important for me that [my final scene] be epic and powerful…I want it to end well.” (How do you think Elena Gilbert will finally leave Mystic Falls?? Nina visited Conan O’Brien to chat about her road trip with five friends and her cat, Lynx, and to do the splits. With the help of a few special effects, Conan did too. Check out this clip of the two doing circus tricks — one a little more impressive than the other.

So what’s next for the girl we’ve known and loved since her Degrassi days? For starters, there’s her new movie The Final Girls, which premiered at the SXSW film festival this March. We’re sure whatever else comes next, Nina will attack it with her usual biting wit. (#vampirejokes) As she assured Self about finding new roles, “I’m ready to put up that fight again. I’m excited to put up that fight.”
