Nina Dobrev celebrates her birthday with a “La La Land” themed party and it’s like stepping into the movie
Welcome to La La Land…or Nina’s Land! Over the weekend, Nina Dobrev celebrated her birthday with La La Land themed party and it was like stepping into the musical.
Over the years, Dobrev has been known for her epic Halloween costumes and fabulous parties, so her 28th birthday bash was no different. On Saturday, the former Vampire Diaries actress rang in her 28th year (her real bday is on January 9th) with friends with a party worthy of Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling’s praise.
Not only was the bash in Los Angeles, but it was all about the hit LA-based musical film, La La Land and we wish we were invited.
The party took place at The Spare Room, which has an old-timey feel to it and pretty much made you feel like you were traveling back in time.
Of course, everyone who attended the event, which included Aaron Paul, Julianne Hough and Derek Hough, had to come in gowns or suits reminiscent of the movie.
The birthday girl, channeled Stone’s character Mia, in a blue dress that looked a LOT like one of the dresses the character wore in the film.
Dobrev’s BFF, Julianne showed up in style with her brother Derek and they won “best dressed” in our minds. They rocked Mia and Sebastian ensembles that made us do a double take, because of how on-point they were.
Do you think these two did a little dance number for the birthday girl? We’re hoping, yes!
Throughout the night, the xXx: Return of Xander Cage actress celebrated her birthday alongside her friend, professional polo player, Ronnie Bacardi. Together their birthdays add up to 60, which is what their hilarious face-cake said.
Seriously, this cake is ah-mazing.
