Nico Tortorella from “Younger” just made these important points about bisexuality and we totally agree
We totally love the fact that Younger star, Nico Tortorella, speaks openly about dating men and women.
Not only is it totally refreshing to see new talent be open and speak candidly about how he lives (which is awesome), it’s so great to see people like Nico living life the way that they want to with no apologies.
If you’re not away, Nico Tortorella stars along side Hilary Duff and Sutton Foster in TV Land’s brilliant and hilarious drama Younger, which is low-key one of our fave shows atm. The show follows Sutton’s character, Liza Miller, as she navigates life as a forty-something woman pretending to be a twenty-something. Nico stars as her on-again-off-again love interest, Josh, while Hilary Duff is Kelsey, Liza’s BFF. Oh, and the whole thing is executive produced by Darren Starr, who brought us Sex and the City.
Basically, this show is amazing.
Well, ultimate bae Nico Tortorella has been opening up again about his sexuality and we totally applaud it.
Speaking to Vulture in a lengthy profile, the actor said that he actually never really identified as sexually fluid, but rather prefers the term “emotionally fluid.” However, the actor said that he’s becoming more and more okay with labels.
"The more I’m having these conversations, the more comfortable I am identifying as bisexual," he said. "I’ve been so hesitant about using the word for so long, because it does have a negative connotation in our generation. People fought for so long for that ‘B’ in LGBT, and I refuse to be the person that’s going to throw that away because I think I have a more colorful word."
YES! We SO totally agree with Nico here.

Continuing, he added:
"The only way to move to a genderless, raceless society is if everybody, across the board, (a) stops being an asshole, and (b) stops being so fucking sensitive."
We’re totally on-board with Nico’s progressive attitudes towards sexuality, and he joins a growing list of stars who are constantly pushing the boundaries like Miley Cyrus and Lily Rose Depp.
Nico, who hosts a podcast about sex, sexuality, and relationships, The Love Bomb, also opened up to Access Hollywood, about his experiences.

Speaking to the show’s hosts, the actor said that he felt like he could do whatever he wanted whenever he wanted.
"I think we just kind of have to take the weight off of it a little bit," he said. "Look, it’s 2016, we live in a beautiful country. There’s a lot of crazy stuff happening, but I still love where we live. And I think that everybody has the right to do what they want and be the person they want to be — as long as it’s effecting positive change in the world."
We love Nico’s frank, honest, and non-judgemental approach to life. It’s great to see people like him speak openly about their lives, and promote a healthy and positive attitude towards life.
