Look at a very young Onika T. Maraj before she grew up into the HBIC (and I ain’t talking ’bout a . Nicki has said multiple times that acting was her “first love” which is why she attended LaGuardia High School so for Barbz this recently found clip should not be a surprise. After extensive Googling, okay like 5 minutes while watching The Wire, I dug up this link to a play from 2001 called In Case You Forget by Ben Snyder about “A young graffiti artist on his way to prison makes his mark on friends, rivals and an ex-girlfriend in this political love story with a hip hop edge.”
It looks like this video might be a rehearsal for preview/showcase for the play or a “New York High” reality show. Either way you get to see a little Nicki Minaj really get into character in this “telephone girl” clip:
