Nick Jonas revealed how he found out about ex-GF Selena Gomez’s kidney transplant
It’s been nine years since Selena Gomez and Nick Jonas were romantically involved, but these two are proof positive you can remain friends with an ex. The two have always spoken highly of each other, and supported each other’s work. And in the wake of Selena Gomez’s recent kidney transplant, Nick Jonas isn’t shy about sharing just how remarkable he thinks she is.
In an interview with Sirius XM’s Hits 1, Nick Jonas confessed that, like the rest of us, he was completely in the dark regarding Gomez’ kidney transplant. But when he heard the news, he was incredibly happy for his former girlfriend.
"I was as surprised as everyone else when I woke up and saw her Instagram," he said during the Sirius interview. "But wow, just incredible. And the strength she's shown through all that's amazing and inspiring. And I'm pumped for her. I'm happy to see that she's doing well, it seems, and that she was able to get the surgery. And her friend helping her was a beautiful thing, so it's all amazing.".
Nick Jonas has previously praised Selena Gomez for her intelligence, talent, and kindness, but we’re sure she appreciates his support during what must be a challenging time. Gomez needed a kidney transplant due to her lupus, a condition about which she has been incredibly candid.
