Brace yourselves for a super sweet bro moment, everyone: Nick Cannon received a surprise visit from Kevin Hart in the hospital on Christmas Day and ugh, so many feels, y’all. As we previously reported, Cannon was hospitalized with complications from lupus just before Christmas and made an announcement on Instagram ensuring everyone who had been reaching out that he’d be “back to normal before the New Year.”
Being in the hospital, and on the holiday no less, is far from ideal, which is probably one of the reasons Cannon spent time with kids at St. Mary’s earlier this month. Weeks after his charitable gesture, he’s the one receiving a visit from Hart, who shared a photo on Instagram of the pair hanging with activist and fellow comedian Dick Gregory.
“So happy to see my brother @nickcannon getting back to himself,” Hart captioned the pic. “Nothing but love for you man….. #GetWellNick #Ncredible.”
The America’s Got Talent host might’ve missed out on spending Christmas at home with his adorable 5-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe (and their insane candy room), but we’re glad he’s been feeling the love while he takes some time off to recuperate.
Cannon shared the same photo of himself, Hart and Gregory, expressing so much gratitude from all the friendly faces who have taken time to visit him and spread a little bit of holiday cheer.
"Man, so many loving strong vibrations came to visit me in the hospital today!" Cannon wrote on Instagram. "Thank you to EVERYONE for all the gifts, messages, comments, the time, the love and the prayers... I'm getting there!!! And once I'm back... it's about to be #Ncredible."
