Nick Cannon’s Baby Mama Drama Continues With Announcement of Baby #12
2022 has been a big baby-making year for the star!
Update: A previous version of this story published on Nov. 4, 2022 reported that this is baby announcement number eleven for Nick Cannon. However, this was before Cannon confirmed that he had fathered a third child with Abby De La Rosa, making this baby announcement twelve for the star. The more the merrier! Baby #12 is on the way for Nick Cannon, who is expecting his second child with model Alyssa Scott.
It’s been a big year for Cannon and his growing team of kiddos. Back in September, HelloGiggles reported that Cannon welcomed his ninth child, just weeks after announcing model Brittany Bell is pregnant with his tenth child.
Cannon and Scott’s baby announcement comes nearly one year after the death of their 5-month-old son, Zen, who tragically passed away from brain cancer in December 2021. The model also has a 4-year-old daughter named Zeela.
Scott broke the happy news first. On Thursday, Nov. 3, the soon-to-be mama of three took to Instagram to give fans an inside look into the pair’s at-home maternity shoot. “This is a MIRACLE & a BLESSING,” Scott penned with a white heart, per People.
In a slideshow shared on her Instagram, photographer Gabriel Villalobos highlighted some of her favorite stills from the day as well. Cannon and Scott stripped down for the bathtub photoshoot.
In one photo, the Wild ‘n Out host is photographed holding Scott’s belly. The next photo is of Cannon kissing Scott’s baby bump as she smiles down on him while covering her breasts with both hands.
“Thank You @itsalyssaemm & @nickcannon for letting me photograph and share this special moment with you guys,” Villalobos captioned the photo gallery.
Cannon has yet to comment on the baby news himself, but these gorgeous maternity photos are all the confirmation we need. Here’s to the pair and their baby on board!
This will be Cannon’s twelfth child.
In 2011, Cannon and his ex-wife, Mariah Carey, welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe.
He and Bell share sons Golden “Sagon,” Rise Messiah, and daughter Powerful Queen.
He’s also a dad to son Legendary Love, whom he shares with model Bre Tiesi, and daughter Onyx Ice, whom he shares with model LaNisha Cole.
Cannon and Abby De La Rosa are parents to twin boys Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir. The DJ gave birth to her third child, Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon, on Friday, Nov. 11, which she confirmed is Cannon’s.
