A newscaster did a live broadcast with a GIANT SPIDER crawling up her body
File this under “things that fuel our nightmares.” While shooting a live segment for KDFW in Dallas, a newscaster had no idea a giant spider was crawling up her arm.
Some are considering reporter Shannon Murray a minor hero for calmly delivering the news under unideal (creepy-crawly) circumstances. But in reality, Murray only got through it because she had no idea the critter was there.
Good Day Fox 4 posted a clip of Murray’s broadcast, titling the video “Good Day Spider.” This video has been watched over 70,000 times since being uploaded two days ago.
Her co-star is causing quite a stir on the internet.
We think the spider knew he was on live television and decided to use his airtime to do a little song and dance, knowing well and good he would be an overnight viral sensation.
Murray didn’t appreciate the spider’s stunt. After learning the little — but also giant — spiderwas along for the ride during her segment, she tweeted out a very #relatable response.

"I thought it was hilarious when a viewer told me on Facebook that I had a spider on me," Murray told Teen Vogue. "But then when I actually saw the video, I was totally creeped out. I could not believe how big it was!"

Not knowing the spider was on her arm worked in Murray’s favor. Rather than going viral for a live broadcasted spider freakout, Murray is instead being crowned the queen of cool.
