As the nation reels in shock from the most deadly shooting in modern American history, many are turning to social media to share a call-to-action about gun violence. As President Obama said in his national address about the shootings in Orlando, “to actively do nothing is a decision as well” and for many, that choice is no longer an option.

Regardless of where you stand on the gun control issue, we can all agree that mass shootings are a deadly and growing issue that cost us lives. While approaches on how to confront this issue may vary, social media is standing strong on the need for immediate, concrete action before another precious life is lost in the fight against gun violence.
