The election is officially over. Donald Trump will be the 45th President of the United States, and stunned Clinton supporters are still taking in the election results. We’re all trying to process this new reality. Today is hard for many, but as we go about our normal lives, many of us are finding comfort in the words of friends and strangers on the internet.

Politicians, celebrities, moms, dads, sons, daughters, and everyone in between have been Tweeting their thoughts about the results of the election.

Their messages have been incredibly uplifting, and truthfully, exactly what we need right now.

In darkness, there is always light. Despite what we hoped and believed would happen for our country, things look different now. Good things are still possible, we just need to help create those things. It’ll be an uphill battle – but we cannot stop fighting.

First and foremost, important words from Hillary Clinton:

And these wise words from Kid President:

We’ve come too far to quit now. Encouraging words to keep going:

Because loving each other hard is all we can do.

We’re all equipped, we may just need to be reminded of that today.

At least we can all get back to doing anything other than watching election coverage.

This.

And this.

Just remember — we’re stronger together. Always.
