Trump and Obama each shared what they're thankful for this year—and the difference is laughable
It’s officially Thanksgiving 2018, which means it’s time to take a moment and really appreciate what we have to be grateful for in life. And what is President Donald Trump grateful for this year, you might ask? Himself. Yes, really. During a phone interview with the media this morning, November 22nd, Trump was asked what he’s most thankful for, and he responded with, “For having a great family and for having made a tremendous difference in this country. I made a tremendous difference in the country. This country is so much stronger now than it was when I took office that you won’t believe it.”
He didn’t stop there.
First of all, we have yet to hear of a foreign leader express any of the above. Secondly, we’re sadly not surprised that Donald Trump took a question about gratitude and reflected it back on himself.
And what is former president Barack Obama grateful for this year? We got you.
Spoken like a true leader. As if we don’t say this enough: We miss you, Obama. But we’re so thankful you’re here still attempting to make the world a better place for all.
