Tommy Wiseau acting out *real* disaster movies is too good for this world
Just when you think you’ve seen it all, Tommy Wiseau green screens himself into all your favorite disaster movies. And then he proceeds to act out all the major destruction moments. Think that sounds too good to be true? Prepare to have your minds blown, because thanks to the geniuses over at Screen Junkies, we now have almost four minutes of The Room‘s creator/star/inspiration for The Disaster Artist acting out iconic disaster movies. You haven’t seen a death scened until you see a Tommy Wiseau death scene, people.
Wiseau goes from yelling at Bill Paxton in Twister to drive the car faster (and even threatening to take the keys and drive the car himself!) while on the run from a “oh my god the tornado or whatever it is” while a cow flies by — “Oh my god, look at this cow right now” — to apologizing for calling Paxton a b*tch — “I’m sorry, you’re not a b*tch, you’re a nice person,” while also throwing in a “you’re tearing me apart right now,” all in the span of 10 seconds. And that’s only the first scene of the video! This whole situation is really too good for this world.
All I know is, if I’m ever trapped on a cruise ship while a giant wave is about to crash down on us all Poseidon-style, I would want Wiseau there to yell at us to stop drinking and “watch what’s happening right now!” If you don’t die while hearing him shout, “We are dying right now!” then you’re doing your death wrong, that’s just a fact. He’s truly the hero of every story.
And it’s not just classic movies either! Wiseau puts himself into the trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and wouldn’t you know it, a T-Rex accidentally stomps on his foot. That’s got to hurt. The way Wiseau truly shows his pain in that moment is *art* and I need more.
Although I don’t think anyone will ever be emotionally prepared enough to see Wiseau behind the Presidential podium in the White House.
