For Swifties, the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards could have been renamed the “Delicate” music video premiere party. Yep — Taylor Swift’s “Delicate” music video is FINALLY here. It premiered during the show on Sunday, March 11th. Of course, fans of the Reputation singer knew that the vid was coming. Swift announced the news on Instagram on March 5th.

Before the “Delicate” music video came out, fans hypothesized that the song was about Swift’s current boyfriend, Joe Alwyn. The two were seen hiking in Malibu just a few days ago. During their hike, Alwyn wore dark jeans and Nikes — things that just so happen to be shouted out in “Delicate.”

In the song, Swift sings, “Dark jeans and your Nikes, look at you. Oh damn, never seen that color blue.” The fact that Swift and Alwyn went out in public together — a rare occurrence for the secretive couple — and wore the exact clothes Swift sings about in the song was almost too much for Swifties to handle.

Since Swift often hides clues and Easter eggs in her work, the public hike Swift and Alwyn took on Thursday seemed like a glaring clue about the “Delicate” video. But now that it’s here, the video is very “Old Taylor.” It shows her doing what she does best: dancing like nobody’s watching.

Swift was SO excited to share the “Delicate” music video with her fans.

To say that Swifties were excited would be an understatement.

When director Joseph Kahn shared this picture on Twitter just a few hours before the premiere, we didn’t know WHAT to think.

But now, it’s finally here! Watch the “Delicate” music video below.

This is Swift’s fourth music video off Reputation. The other songs from the album that have music videos include “End Game,” “… Ready For It?” and “Look What You Made Me Do.” Each video has been completely different from the other, and “Delicate” is no exception.

If you STILL can’t get enough of “Delicate,” watch this behind-the-scenes video of the making of the song.

With its romantic lyrics and syncopated beat, “Delicate” was already a fan favorite. Now, the new music video makes the song even better.
