You’ve probably heard of Call Me By Your Name by now. It’s a beautiful film that was nominated for Best Picture at the 2018 Oscars. If you haven’t seen it yet, don’t worry: It’s available for streaming. The film stars Armie Hammer and newcomer Timothée Chalamet in a coming-of-age romance that’s bound to give you all the feels. Timothée actually earned his own Best Actor nod for his role as Elio Perlman, a 17-year-old falling in love for the first time. (There’s also a lot of internet buzz about a scene with a peach.) One thing you might not know about Call Me By Your Name, however, is that musician Sufjan Stevens contributed not one, not two, but three songs to the movie’s soundtrack.

One of the tracks Sufjan Stevens wrote for the movie, “Mystery of Love,” is even nominated for Best Original Song at tonight’s Academy Awards ceremony. If the movie made you cry, you’re bound to shed some salty tears over the stunning lyrics to the song. The film’s entire soundtrack is lovely and heart-wrenching, just like the story it accompanies. So, if you’re in the mood to wreck your emotions with some Sufjan Stevens songs, you’re in luck.

If you want to listen to the Sufjan Stevens songs in Call Me By Your Name, start with YouTube.

And here’s “Visions of Gideon”:

Call Me By Your Name’s full soundtrack is available for streaming on Spotify, Google Play, and Amazon. You can also purchase the album (or individual songs) on iTunes and Google Play.

However you choose to listen, you won’t be sorry. And be sure to watch tonight’s 2018 Oscars telecast to see Sufjan Stevens perform “Mystery of Love” onstage during the ceremony. Maybe he’ll even win the Best Original Song category!
