The "Stranger Things" and "Black-ish" kids dominated the dance floor at Netflix's SAG Awards after-party
After the 2018 SAG Awards, the stars were shuttled away to various after-parties at hotels and residences across the city, but only the Netflix after-party transformed into a bomb middle school dance party. The kids of Stranger Things and Black-ish (plus young Randall from This Is Us) all hit the Netflix after-party at the Sunset Tower Hotel and dominated the dance floor.
At the actual awards show, the cast of Stranger Things was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, though that award went to the cast of This Is Us. Millie Bobby Brown was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series but lost to Claire Foy of The Crown. The Black-ish cast was similarly nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, though the cast of Veep took home the award.
But the SAG Awards turned out to be just an appetizer course, because the child actors on these shows had the time of their lives at the after-party. From left to right we have Stranger Things stars Caleb McLaughlin, his sister Crystal McLaughlin, and Brown. Next is This Is Us actor Lonnie Chavis plus the kids of Black-ish: Marsai Martin, Miles Brown, and Marcus Scribner. On the end is Gaten Matarazzo, also from Stranger Things.
This is like their version of a middle school dance in the cafeteria, except so much better.
Literally nobody else is dancing except the kids.
Lol at all these adults taking photos and likely texting their own kids back home like, “Look, all your faves are here! Jelly?”
Ah, to be young and famous in Hollywood.
