If you’re like us, you often have songs from commercials stuck in your head. You’re casually watching TV when it hits you out of nowhere — a certain commercial jam starts playing and then…it’s stuck in your head for the next five months. The Cadillac commercial song that just played during the 2018 Oscars is no exception. And honestly, we’re not mad about it.

"Ooh woo, I'm a rebel just for kicks, now / I been feeling it since 1966, now / Might be over now, but I feel it still"

Yup. That’s going to be stuck in our heads for months to come.

With this (literally) in mind, you may be wondering: Who sings the Cadillac commercial song? And what is the name of the song?

Fortunately, we have the scoop. Cadillac chose Portugal. The Man’s “Feel It Still” for their “Future Cars” commercial. Even though it’s only 15 seconds long, the car commercial surely packs a punch — and that’s thanks to the included song.

Interestingly enough, back in July 2017, Billboard reported that “Feel It Still” was #1 on Billboard & Clio’s Top TV Commercials chart, which is powered by Shazam. This occurred after Portugal. The Man’s hit was featured in Apple’s “On Any Given Wednesday” commercial for the iPad Pro. The song has also been in commercials involving Vitamin Water, Peter Rabbit, and YouTube TV. Clearly, commercial creators can’t get enough of this tune (and neither can we).

Now if you’ll excuse us, we’ll be humming along to Cadillac’s commercial as we watch the rest of the 2018 Oscars.
