Snapchat is down and people are NOT handling it well
There are a bananas amount of regular Snapchatters (100 million monthly active users, what what?) and a significant portion of Snapchat Kingdom’s loyal subjects were MOST displeased today when they discovered that their beloved app was down.
According to Tech Times, users have taken to Twitter to complain about the myriad problems they’re experiencing — the app won’t let them log in, they can log in, but can’t send snaps, refreshing is impossible, and so on. It sounds like Snapchat is experiencing whatever the app version is of the stay-in-bed-for-a-week-flu.
This Snapchat outage has hit the Netherlands, Southern England, North France and Norway the hardest, but users in Australia and the U.S.’ West Coast are also experiencing le issues.
Snapchatters took to a social site that IS working (in this case, Twitter) to work through their many, many feelings during this very trying time:
There are definitely those that empathize with the app’s plight:
And there is so much longing, so much regret:
Some people are looking for the Voldemort/President Snow who committed this unthinkable crime:
Then there are the Pollyannas who are determined to look on the bright side:
And there are those who are holding out for a hero ’til the end of the night:
Of course, there are also all the people who are just mad at Snapchat for tripping:
So what do we do while we wait for Snapchat to start, you know working at 100 percent again? Tech Times advises users to just hang tight and DON’T log off (b/c it might be impossible to log back on until isssssssues are resolved). We’ll get through this, you guys, and in the meantime, it sounds like this outage is reminding people how much fun it is to kvetch on Twitter. Solidarity in grouchiness!
