Sephora has made it easier for consumers to support Black communities and help fight racial injustice. Sephora Beauty Insiders can now donate Sephora points to the country’s leading national Black LGBTQ/SGL civil rights organization, the National Black Justice Coalition. The retailer announced its move on social media during Blackout Tuesday to support the Black Lives Matter movement. It is just one of many Black organizations that Sephora is currently supporting at this time.

“We believe unequivocally that Black Lives Matter, and when we return we are committed to using our platform and resources to stand against racism and injustice, to amplify Black voices, and celebrate the beauty and diversity of Black lives,” reads a caption on the brand’s Instagram post supporting #blackouttuesday. “We are proud to have given more than $1M to support organizations in our communities like @caresmentoring, @center_for_urban_families, @naacp, @nbjconthemove and The National Coalition on Black Civic Participation Black Women’s Roundtable who are building up Black communities and leading the fight for racial justice and equity.”

The breakdown of the Sephora points donation is simple: 500 beauty insider points equal a $10 donation, 1,000 points equal a $20 donation, and 1,500 points equal a $30 donation. And you do not need to make a purchase to donate points if you already have them.

“We will continue financially to support organizations that fight for equality and racial justice,” writes President and CEO of Sephora Americas Jean-André Rougeot in an open letter on its site to employees and customers. “We will continue to listen to our Equity Advisors who are working on the front lines to advocate for a better society. And we will continue to look for ways to improve and evolve our policies and practices as a retail organization.”

To donate, you simply have to log into your account on the site. From there, head to the Rewards Bazaar section to click the number of points you want to donate, and check out to finish. If you’re not able to protest IRL or don’t have disposable income to donate money or purchase from black-owned companies, this is a simple way to show your support with a brand that is vocal in supporting Black Lives Matter.

“To our Black employees: We see you. We know you’re hurting,” Rougeot writes. “We are here to support wherever and however we can.”
