Selena Gomez has officially returned to Instagram after a four-month hiatus. On Monday, January 14, the “Back to You” singer posted an inspirational message to her fans, thanking them for their constant love and support. Alongside a series of black and white photos, Gomez reflected on her recent challenges and how happy she is with the person she’s becoming.

Gomez revealed that 2018 made her stronger and that she’s looking forward to whatever 2019 has in store for her.

In September, the 26-year-old announced she was taking a break from social media because of all the negativity it brought into her life. Then, one month later, she checked herself into rehab after reportedly suffering from an “emotional breakdown” due to recurring complications from her 2017 kidney transplant.

Though it’s unclear when Gomez left the mental health facility, she has since been spending time with her loved ones. In December, she was spotted on a ski trip with friends, and most recently hung out with BFF Taylor Swift and Cazzie David in what we consider one of the most epic girls’ night of all time.

We’re happy to see Gomez doing so well. Wishing you the best 2019 ever, lady.
