Ryan Reynolds photobombed Hugh Jackman's birthday video so hard
If you needed another reason to love Ryan Reynolds, we’ve got one for you. The actor, who’s known for constantly (but lovingly) trolling his wife Blake Lively, took aim at Hugh Jackman after he photobombed one of his videos. Jackman took to social media on Friday, April 27th, to share a “heartfelt” video birthday message only to be interrupted by Deadpool himself – and let’s just say this is officially the hotel room musical duet of our dreams.
The video sees the Wolverine star in a bathrobe, trying to deliver a happy birthday greeting to an unknown lucky person, when we hear a familiar voice in the background. As the camera pans around, we see the voice is coming from Reynolds, in full Deadpool costume, sprawled out on the hotel bed singing “Tomorrow” from the Broadway musical Annie.
“Don’t pay him too much attention,” Jackman says, as he turns the camera back to himself. Reynolds then breaks into a rendition of “Who Let The Dogs Out,” because, of course.
Check out Reynolds and Jackman’s hilarious duet below:
After the video was posted, fans went wild at the possibility that the two are going to come together for the Deadpool sequel.
Unfortunately, we shouldn’t get too excited to see a Wolverine and Deadpool crossover, since Jackman did say that Logan was his last X-Men film. However, Deadpool isn’t technically X-Men, is it? Plus, a cameo never hurt anyone! We’ll just have to wait to find out when Deadpool 2 hits theaters on May 18th!
