Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding beer is here, and the symbolism behind it is adorable
If you can’t get enough of all things Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, we’ve got even more juicy details for you. It was announced today, Saturday, March 10th, that a British brewery has created a limited-edition royal wedding beer in honor of the couple’s upcoming nuptials. As if we didn’t have enough reasons to be jealous of the guest list.
The beer from Windsor and Eton Brewery combines British and American hops, and we are loving the symbolism behind it. The beer’s name is also perfect: Harry & Meghan’s Windsor Knot. (Could this BE any cuter?) The pale ale is a new twist on what was originally brewed for the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton, according to the brewery’s website.
We suppose beer doesn’t need to have glitter in it to be good (though it certainly doesn’t hurt).
The royal wedding beer will be available at the Royal Farm Shop, a local grocer, on March 28th.
We can’t be sure if the couple’s reception will have Harry & Meghan’s Windsor Knot on hand, but pubs in London and Windsor should have it available for celebrating patrons. There’s also no word of when or if the royal wedding beer will make its way to the United States. But we’re keeping our fingers crossed!
The makers behind the royal wedding beer put a lot of thought into the bottle’s design, too.
Excuse us while we happy cry.
