When Queer Eye came into our lives, our world never looked so bright! Now that we’ve long finished bingeing the first season of the reboot, we can’t help but feel lonely because we have a Fab Five-shaped hole in our hearts. But guess what, people? They’re coming back way sooner than you think. That’s right. Queer Eye Season 2 is dropping on Netflix on June 15th — just a few sleeps away. Can you believe?

The makeover show was a reboot of the early-’00s original. It was an unexpected phenomenon, providing us not just glimpses of fabulous transformations, but also stories of acceptance and love. And now, our BFFs Antoni Porowski, Jonathan van Ness, Karamo Brown, Tan France, and Bobby Berk are all returning for Season 2 sooner than we expected. This calls for a toast with redneck margaritas.

On Thursday, May 24th, Netflix released a press statement regarding the new installment. According to the streaming service, Queer Eye Season 2 will be a continuation of the Fab Five’s journey through Georgia:

The show also confirmed the news via a promo clip on Twitter, showing a sneak peek of the Fab Five’s group chat, and can we be included in this? “Who gave us permission? New episodes June 15,” the caption reads.

In March, resident design guru Bobby Berk and series creator David Collin confirmed that Queer Eye Season 2 would feature eight episodes, the same number as the first. They also revealed that the all-new episodes were filmed immediately after Season 1’s episodes. “These we actually shot right at the tail of the first season, so they’ve already been shot and they’re ready to go,” Bobby dished.
