For some inexplicable-yet-forever-maddening reason, our culture loves to pit women against each other. Whether it’s promoting the narrative that women are “catty” and competitive in the workplace, or insisting that groups of women can’t get along, this trope seems to pop up on an almost daily basis. Which is why we were disheartened—but not necessarily surprised—when reports surfaced of a “feud” between close friends Meghan Markle and Priyanka Chopra.

The rumors began in full force when Markle wasn’t in attendance at Chopra’s wedding in India in December (despite the fact that Markle is pregnant and has a huge list of royal duties and obligations to fulfill on the reg). Things heated up when Chopra reportedly didn’t attend Markle’s baby shower in New York City.

But Chopra officially put the rumors to rest during a March 21st appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

The moment occurred when a caller dialed in and asked Chopra, “Are the rumors true that you were upset that Meghan Markle skipped your wedding to Nick Jonas?” Cohen then chimed in with, “They said that you didn’t go to her baby shower because you were pissed at her.”

There you have it, people. A concise and abundantly clear answer to all the unnecessary rumors and drama. Here’s the full clip of the moment, if you’re interested:

Now, let’s focus on the important things in life…like our royal baby birthday office pool.
