Stephen Fry and Jim Dale are shook, because there’s been a world-class Harry Potter narrator hiding right before our very eyes…and he’s next in line to the British throne. Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry are all noted fans of the franchise, but it seems another royal has secretly been keeping up with the titular Boy Who Lived: Prince Charles.

In an upcoming BBC One documentary celebrating the prince’s 70th birthday, Camilla Parker-Bowles revealed Charles reads the beloved novels to her grandchildren…with all the voices.

"He will get down on his knees and crawl about with them for hours, you know making funny noises and laughing and my grandchildren adore him, absolutely adore him," she said, in the upcoming documentary, called Prince, Son and Heir: Charles at 70. "He reads Harry Potter and can do all the different voices and I think children really appreciate that."

The more we think about it, the more we need to hear Prince Charles narrate an entire Harry Potter book. Eddie Redmayne, Natalie Dormer, and Andrew Lincoln have each stepped up to narrate a Harry Potter companion book, and last we checked, The Tales of Beedle the Bard has yet to find its celebrity narrator.

Reading Harry Potter has become something of a rite of passage for so many, and we love knowing that even the royals are in on it.
