Pippa Middleton very casually confirmed she's pregnant in a magazine column about exercising when you're expecting
We have two big pieces of news. The first is that Pippa Middleton is pregnant (so many congrats) and the second is that Pippa is a fitness influencer (more on that later). Duchess Kate Middleton has yet to publicly react to her sister’s good news, and while Pippa only confirmed she’s in her first trimester, we assume her sister has known about this for a while. So how did Pippa confirm that she and her husband James Matthews are expecting their first child? In a magazine column about pregnancy fitness.
Pippa has a recurring fitness column in Waitrose Weekend magazine, a complimentary periodical available at the U.K. grocery chain, Waitrose. She casually revealed her pregnancy news in a new column about “exercising during pregnancy.”
“When I learned the happy news that I was pregnant, I realized I needed to adjust my normal 4-to-5-day-a-week routine and find a way of continuing my exercise safely throughout the three trimesters,” Pippa wrote (just like that, no mic drop needed).
Kate struggled with hyperemesis gravidarum — a severe form of morning sickness — through all her pregnancies, and Pippa was relieved to learn she didn’t suffer in the same way.
Though she’s only in her first trimester, we suppose the signs were there all along. This photo was taken on May 27th, 2018 at the 2018 French Open.
Congratulations to Pippa and James on the announcement of their first child. We’ll have to get our hands on that magazine and follow some of Pippa’s expert fitness tips.
