Obama just dropped a 56-page article in the Harvard Law Review on a seriously important topic like the badass he is
In the last eight years, President Obama has done a million ridiculously impressive things, and they range from the hilarious to the genius. His most recent accomplishment? Casually dropping an article in the Harvard Law Review on criminal justice reform. Honestly, we’ve never been more proud.
While we were madly in love with Obama when he danced to hotline bling and when he had a DNC power rap to inspire him for the DNC, this is a new kind of love. We’re just so continually blown away by how accomplished and lovely and intelligent he is. He never fails to impress us with how, well, presidential he is.
In our digging, we were seriously amazed to realize that Obama was elected the first black president of yhe Harvard Law Review in its over 100 years. There’s something so beautiful about thinking all the way back to 1990 when he was making such major moves, and now, to him wrapping up his last few weeks as the first black president of the entire country. Like, wow, Obama.
Obama has done a lot to try and reform the criminal justice system, one which is extremely flawed and definitely in need of reform.
In the last eight years, Quartz notes,
All we can do is cheer. Thank you for showing all that a president can do, President Obama. We’ll be forever grateful for your guidance and wisdom, and hope you continue to provide us with your brilliance.
