Noah Centineo described his (awkward) first kiss, and it's painfully relatable
Noah Centineo exudes so much effortless charm in To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before that it’s hard to imagine any of his dating experiences being anything but storybook perfect. That’s why it’s surprising (yet totally endearing) that the Fosters actor apparently had a less-than-ideal first kiss.
In an interview with W Magazine, Centineo detailed his first-ever smooch, and it will likely have you remembering your own inaugural lip-lock. He said he was staying at a hotel in Century City (near Los Angeles) during pilot season.
“There was a dance convention,” he recalled. “I saw this girl named Mackenzie, and I asked her if she wanted to go to a movie with me. She said yes. It was Cowboys & Aliens, with Daniel Craig. So the movie ends, we get up, leave the theater, and we’re holding hands. I walk her to her hotel room and say, ‘Goodnight kiss?’ And we pecked.”
Sounds like a sweet and successful first kiss…but Centineo insists that it wasn’t.
Since Cowboys & Aliens came out back in 2011, that would make Centineo just 15 years old at the time…so basically, we get it, dude. Not everyone gets a steamy hot tub makeout with Lana Condor their first try.
