Update, July 12th: According to TMZ, Nicki Minaj did not send Cardi B a gift basket after all. The website reportedly called Petit Trésor to confirm the rumor, but were told that no such purchase had been made. Sigh. Maybe this rumor will inspire Nicki?

On July 10th, Cardi B gave birth to daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, and the world rejoiced. Upon the birth of the newborn queen, wise woman and “Chun Li” singer Nicki Minaj gifted Cardi B a lush $5,000 gift basket. So can we officially put those feud rumors to rest?

According to The Blast, a source founded by TMZ veteran Mike Walters, Minaj called Los Angeles’s premiere baby boutique, Petit Trésor, to help pull the luxury gift basket together. Minaj apparently asked the store to make the basket “as girly as possible.”

Sources say that Kulture Kiari received some of Petit Trésor’s top products, including high-end seasonal clothing, a plethora of dolls and stuffed animals, and even a sterling silver rattle. New mom Cardi was treated to a few “organic pampering items,” as well. Minaj’s gift was expected to arrive at Cardi B’s Atlanta home by Wednesday, July 11th.

Minaj reportedly placed the order for the gift basket mere minutes after Cardi B posted her birth announcement on Instagram.

The “I Like It” rapper supposedly has a checkered past with Minaj—at least according to fans (aka not according to the women themselves). After the two didn’t appear together in the music video for Migos’s “MotorSport,” rumors of a feud began swirling online. It was later revealed that Minaj and Cardi simply had conflicting schedules during the shoot.

We think this generous gift basket proves we can officially put the rumors to rest.

Congrats to Cardi and Offset. We so can’t wait to meet baby Kulture.
