We’re less than a week into the 2018 Winter Olympics and we already have sensory overload. There’s been a drug scandal, North Korean cheerleader drama, and the confusing moment that had us asking, who are the OAR athletes? But we’ve also seen happy moments, like an increase in the number of female athletes competing. But the most recent surprise came from an athlete who isn’t even in the Winter Games. We’re talking about Michael Phelps, American’s most decorated Olympian.

The 28-time medalist and his wife, Nicole, announced the arrival of their baby boy on Tuesday. The new bundle joins their son, Boomer, and brings their family total to four. Well, six, if you count their dogs.

Phelps posted the baby arrival announcement on Instagram, and we can’t get enough of the adorable bunch. But it’s baby boy’s name that also made us smile. And it perfectly compliments big brother Boomer!

Introducing Beckett Richard Phelps!

Phelps captioned the image, “Nicole and I would like to introduce Beckett Richard Phelps to the world! We had a healthy baby boy and a healthy mama.”

Last August, the Phelps’ announced they were expecting baby number two and pondered whether they were having a boy or a girl.

While we have to wait and see what little Beckett’s personality will be like, if he’s anything like his brother Boomer, we’re in for a treat. The eldest turns 2 in May, and captivated everyone’s hearts while in the stands during the Rio Olympics. Boomer even has his own Instagram!

Beckett — perhaps after the author Samuel Beckett? — may have a moodier personality than his brother if he’s anything like the English playwright. We’ll just have to wait and see!

Phelps and his wife had a relaxed approach and hilarious reason for naming their first son Boomer, so we can only imagine Beckett’s name came about in an equally funny way.

Regardless of the reason, you have to admit Boomer and Beckett just sound great together. Maybe a future Olympic team duo?

Boomer used his Instagram account (where he has almost 1 million followers!) to give his baby brother a shout out and welcomed him to the Phelps home, writing, “I can’t wait til I get to teach him so many cool things about the world!! #bigbro.” (We’re guessing he had some help typing from mom and dad.)

We can’t wait to watch Boom and Beck grow in front of our eyes.
