For most of us, the notion of going on a shopping spree with Meghan Markle is little more than a (recurring) fever dream. After all, who dresses better than the Duchess of Sussex? For one woman, however, this dream became a reality thanks to Markle’s new royal patronage program. And thankfully for all of us, royal reporter Rebecca English caught some of the experience on camera.

“Meghan the stylist!” English tweeted Thursday, January 10th, along with a video of Markle visiting Smart Works, an organization dedicated to helping unemployed women get back into the workforce.

In the video, Markle brings over a camel-colored shawl and compliments the woman’s bracelet (“Such a pretty color!”).

“She’s a natural,” Kate Stephens, CEO of Smart Works, added. “She’s very empathetic, relates to our clients. She’s very relaxed and puts everyone at ease and offers great advice as well. She was very hands on in there. She helped with the dressing, the interview coaching.”

Smart Works isn’t the duchess’s only royal patronage. Kensington Palace announced that she will also be Royal Patron of the National Theatre, the Association of Commonwealth Universities, and the animal charity Mayhew.

It sounds as though Markle picked the perfect places to lend her expertise. And Meghan, if you ever want to lend a hand styling us, we’re down.
