Add "the mullet haircut is back" to weird things that have happened in 2020. Maisie Williams now has a blonde mullet, following in the footsteps of 2020 mullet pioneer Miley Cyrus. To be clear: Williams looks amazing. And we think her on-screen alter-ego, Game of Thrones' Arya, would approve of the badass cut—except for the fact that the color is way more Targaryen, her nemeses, than Stark.

Williams herself hasn't fully shown off her new haircut on her social feeds, but we got a glimpse from the @bleachlondon account. The pictures show the IRL Arya Stark wearing a face mask (so it's clear her cut was done safely for coronavirus guidelines) and showing off her mullet.

"Mullet for My Valentine 💘," it says in the caption of Williams' mullet pic.

Bleach London also tagged the Game of Thrones alum and her stylist, @freddie.yeah. In the comments, Williams made it clear she's in love with her new cut: "dreams rly do come true 🙇🏼‍♀️," she wrote.

Though she was a brunette during her time on Game of Thrones, Williams has been wearing her hair blonde recently, and it's been a rainbow of colors during her time off-set, including pink hair. (Pink hair is 100% a celebrity quarantine-trend.)

As for the mullet cut, the throwback style has come into fashion this year, with Cyrus being the most notable celeb making it work. In May, Miley's mom Tish cut her hair into what she described as a "pixie mullet," taking inspiration from icon Debbie Harry. It's not clear who or what inspired Williams to go for the controversial cut, but it's clear she's thrilled with the result.

More pics of that mullet, Maisie, please!
