Liam Hemsworth called Miley Cyrus his wife for the first time in public, and her reaction was priceless
Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus made their first public appearance together as a married couple over the weekend. The duo attended the 16th Annual G’Day USA Gala on Saturday, January 26th, where Hemsworth received an excellence in film award. During his acceptance speech, the Isn’t It Romantic actor thanked Cyrus, who he called “his wife” for the first time in public—and her reaction was 100% priceless. “Thank you to my beautiful wife,” Hemsworth said. “You are a sweet, sweet angel.”

Amid the applause, Cyrus jokingly says from her seat, “more things about me.” Hemsworth replied “I’ll tell you later.” On Instagram, Cyrus shared a sweet selfie of the two at the gala. She captioned the photo, “Date night ❤️ OUT and ready to party with the MR.”
The couple, who met on set of 2009’s The Last Song, tied the knot in a secret ceremony on December 23rd of last year after an on-and-off again relationship. In an interview with Extra over the weekend, Hemsworth revealed the wedding was “spur of the moment.”
Here’s to hoping we get more public sightings of the newly married lovebirds.
