Lara Jean Covey didn’t just win over Peter Kavinsky in To All The Boys I’ve Loved Beforeshe charmed all of us. And since TATBILB is one of Netflix’s most popular movies of all time, it’s no surprise that tons of young women channeled Lara Jean for Halloween 2018.

In a Twitter post Saturday, October 27th, author Jenny Han (who wrote the YA novel that the movie is based on) posted about the abundance of Lara Jean costumes—and what it means for representation for Asian-American women.

“There are very limited options for Asian girls on Halloween,” she wrote. “Like one year I went as Velma from Scooby-Doo, but people just asked me if I was a manga character.”

And people went all out. Just look:

We’re definitely feeling things.

“Their proud smiles brought happy tears to my eyes on a dark day,” Han tweeted. “I hope they bring you a little cheer too. xx.”

Excuse us while we spend the next several hours scrolling through these perfect costumes. It’s what Lara Jean deserves!
