Lady Gaga Criticized Trump’s Misogynistic Behavior at Joe Biden’s Final Rally
"Now is not a time to feel confident and sit back."
Donald Trump has never been shy about hiding his misogynistic views towards women—at least two dozen women have accused Trump of sexual misconduct over the years, and he’s proudly admitted that he has wielded his fame and power to sexually assault women before. But it seems some voters have forgotten that fact (or simply don’t care), and Lady Gaga has issued one final plea to potential Trump voters, reminding them why his treatment of women is unacceptable—and why we must vote him out of office.
Gaga appeared at a Biden-Harris campaign event in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on the eve of the presidential election, and she spoke directly to Americans who might be considering casting a vote for Trump today, November 3rd. She ended her speech with an impassioned plea to those who support Trump in his re-election.
“To all the women and all the men with daughters and sisters and mothers, everybody, no matter how you identify, now is your chance to vote against Donald Trump—a man who believes his fame gives him the right to grab one of your daughters or sisters or mothers or wives by any part of their bodies."
She ended by saying, “Vote for Joe. He’s a good person. Thank you.”
Addressing potential voters who might feel frustrated or downright tired and aren’t voting at all, she reminded the crowd that “now is not a time to feel confident and sit back."
Gaga continued, "Right now is time for action. It's time to muster all of our energy, every ounce of us, every ounce of hope and optimism and enthusiasm, every ounce of fear and frustration and discouragement, now is the time to show up and vote like this country depends on it because it does."
And, of course, if you haven’t already, get out there and vote today. Might we suggest listening to your fave Lady Gaga playlist while you wait in line?
