The 2019 Oscars are today, February 24th, and Lady Gaga just won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for “Shallow” from the A Star Is Born soundtrack. Gaga took the stage to accept the honor with her collaborators, Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando, and Andrew Wyatt—and we’re already calling her speech one of the best of the night. The pop icon-turned-award-winning actress stood in front of the crowd, teary-eyed, while speaking directly to viewers at home.

Okay, we’re crying. And Gaga’s message resonated with so many people.

Now excuse us while we go write this entire speech out in Sharpie on our bathroom mirrors.
