After reports surfaced back in February that Tristan Thompson kissed Jordyn Woods—aka Kylie Jenner’s best friend—the Kardashian rumor mill went into overdrive, with many wondering about the status of Kylie and Jordyn’s friendship. And eyebrows raised even higher after fans noticed that the Jordy Lip Kit, part of the Kylie Cosmetics x Jordyn Woods makeup collab the duo released last fall, was on sale for half-price after the scandal broke. Some speculated that the price slash was Kylie throwing low-key shade Jordyn’s way.
Jenner herself hasn’t addressed the scandal nor her friendship with Woods—until now. In a March 30th interview with The New York Times, the makeup mogul said that the price change had nothing to do with the current situation and was part of a larger sale on older items because the brand is rolling out new packaging. She further noted that she would never target Jordyn like that anyway.
Other than some not-so-subtle social media posts, the family hasn’t addressed the situation directly. But based on previews for the 16th season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, it seems as though the scandal will definitely be part of the new season.
Momager Kris Jenner indirectly discussed the challenges the family has faced as of late, telling Ryan Seacrest in a recent interview that prayer helps her “deal with it.” She said, “First of all, I pray about it. I really do. I find the spiritual side of me has to kick in or else I feel like I wouldn’t survive.”
She added, “I think my kids make really good decisions and as challenging as some of these situations are, because they have one another and they try to make really good decisions, they’re going to come out the other side with a lot of clarity and honesty and do what they feel like is the right thing.”
Stay tuned, Kardashian fans.
