It’s not even 2019 yet, and Kylie Jenner is already ringing in the New Year with a bang. A day before New Year’s Eve (aka December 30th), the reality star took to Instagram to show off an icy new ‘do: baby blue hair. Instead of speaking a new hairstyle into existence (like most of us do), Kylie just went for it. Of course, keeping with the beauty mogul’s audacious beauty style, she didn’t just opt for something simple or subtle.

Before revealing her icy blue hair on the ‘gram, she took a walk down memory lane on her Insta Stories. She shared a series of photos spotlighting her fave 2018 moments (so far). Some of her highlights included being pregnant at the same time as her sister Khloé Kardashian, the birth of her daughter Stormi, and supporting her beau and baby girl’s father, Travis Scott at his Astroworld tour.

In true Kylie fashion, she kept the reason behind her new ‘do a mystery. She only captioned her photo with the freezing cold emoji.

On her Instagram Stories, the beauty mogul’s hair almost looks like a Gatorade blue. The last time Kylie rocked a hair color in this shade range was during the 2018 Coachella festival.

Kylie’s side-eye is a major mood.

Before going blue, Kylie had platinum blonde hair. During the annual Kardashian Khristmas party, the Kylie Cosmetics founder styled her long blonde extensions in a slicked-back, low pony. If anything, her hair at the family event was similar to her 21st birthday look. On December 16th, the beauty mogul revealed a short, Marilyn Monroe-esque hairstyle. Since she was already platinum blonde, it would have been easier for her to take the plunge and dye her hair blue.

And now with her icy hair, it’s clear that Kylie isn’t going to stop experimenting with her beauty looks any time soon. We can’t wait to see what styles and colors she rocks in 2019.
