BBC America’s Killing Eve was one of the biggest hits of 2018—and with good reason. The female-centric thriller was renewed for Season 2 before it even aired, and Sandra Oh’s performance as the brilliant, complex MI6 agent Eve Polastri won her a Golden Globe Award. Fans have been waiting on pins and needles for the show’s April 7th premiere date, and now, a full-length trailer for the season is finally here, giving viewers their first look at what’s next in Eve and Villanelle’s game of cat and mouse. The show’s official Twitter account shared the trailer today, February 14th. Fittingly, the team accompanied the video with a riff on a classic Valentine’s Day poem:

The trailer is full of so many tantalizing details. We see Villanelle (who definitely survived that stab wound at the end of Season 1) wearing the most incredible onesie ever, a flower arrangement in the shape of Eve’s name, and an interrupted proposal. A haunting cover of Robert Palmer’s “Addicted To Love” (performed by Skylar Grey, according to Bustle) sets the tone for the upcoming season.

And Twitter is already obsessed.

In a recent interview with GlamourJodie Comer, who plays the charming, chic, and murderous Villanelle, explained that the upcoming season will feature “a lot more” deception. She also hinted that Eve and Villanelle’s weirdly magnetic bond might eventually reach a breaking point.

We still have so many questions. What does “a lot more” deception involve? Were those flowers poisoned? When will we find out what happened to Niko? You can bet we’ll be tuning in to BBC America at 8 p.m. on April 7th to learn the answers.
