The Jonas Brothers know how to give an audience what it wants. Just last week, the trio of brothers dropped the video for their new song “What A Man Gotta Do,” and they paid homage to our favorite rom-coms and ’80s flicks. This week, they hit on another era that our nostalgia-loving hearts can’t get enough of: the early 2000s. The brothers recreated a scene from their 2008 Disney Channel movie Camp Rock (some know the film as the subculture rival to High School Musical, but we’ll leave you to discuss that on your own).

Joe Jonas posted the TikTok video to Instagram with the caption, “Presented without comment…,” but we need to talk about this. Considering all three JoBros are now married men (shoutout, J Sisters), seeing them pretend to be bratty teenagers complaining about summer camp is pretty great.

You have to applaud all of the Jonas Brothers for their re-commitment to the roles—just look at those wigs.

Joe especially got into character, reprising his role as Shane Gray, the hotshot musician with an attitude problem. “I don’t want to waste my summer at some camp,” Joe lip syncs in the Tik Tok. “I’m Shane Gray for crying out loud.”

Nick, with the moppy curls we all miss so dearly responds as the earnest Nate Gray: “Hey man, we used to love this place. Three years ago, we were campers.” Then, Kevin Jonas comes in as Jason Gray with a line of straight-up poetry: “Yeah man, this is where Connect 3 connected!”

See the video in all its nostalgic glory below:

In a follow-up post, we get some one-on-one time with Joe Jonas’s moody character. He captioned this one, “LeAvE sHaNe AlOnE.”

Now, we’re just waiting for Demi Lovato to get in on the Tik Tok games. Her character, Mitchie Torres, was responsible for bringing Shane Gray back down to earth, after all. But until then (and until Lovato’s Grammys performance this weekend), we’re making plans for a Camp Rock re-watch party.
