During the 2017 Oscars, host Jimmy Kimmel brought an unsuspecting group of tourists into the theater, and led them through the Academy Awards audience. It gave us some pretty great, and hilarious, moments of television — because remember the lady who met Ryan Gosling and immediately became a meme?

For 2018, he’s decided to top that. Instead of bringing people to the 2018 Oscars, he’s going to bring the 2018 Oscars to a group of people across Hollywood Blvd. in the TCL Chinese Theater. This audience *thinks* they’re watching a preview for A Wrinkle In Time. But surprise! Now Kimmel has brought in Margot Robbie, Lupita Nyong’o, Ansel Elgort, Armie Hammer, Gal Gadot, and Mark Hamill because…why not?

Before cutting to a commercial break, Kimmel asked the Oscar audience for volunteers to walk with him across the street to the other theater, and then Kimmel’s trusted right-hand man, Guillermo, led the way with Oscar banners and also Oscar-nominated director Guillermo del Toro. This is a clear-cut situation for comedy.

Upon arrival, these lucky volunteers were given baskets of snacks to take into the theater. Then, with Wonder Woman (Gadot) herself leading the way and Kimmel right behind her, the Oscars brigade walked into the theater to surprise everyone inside. Everyone plays it cool for a few seconds, and then everyone completely loses it.

And then Hammer and Elgot walked in holding giant hot dog cannons, and how is this not everything you’ve ever wanted in life?

It’s hard to pick out a favorite moment. Is it Armie holding his hot dog cannon high above his head? Is it Lin-Manuel Miranda and del Toro carrying around a giant five-foot sandwich for the audience? Is it Robbie, who went over to everyone to personally hand them candy and say hello? (So sweet.) There’s so much going on, it’s like a renaissance painting.

Considering what Kimmel did last year and now this year, if he comes back for a third time, it’s going to be hard to top this. But we know he’ll think of something.
