Awards shows typically have that one moment that makes people talk. We will literally never forget that time at the 2017 Oscars when the wrong movie was announced for Best Picture. And Jimmy Kimmel will never forget it either, apparently.

In case you somehow missed it/have avoided anything pop culture-related for the past 10 months, Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway took the stage at the 2017 ceremony to present the award for best picture. However, Beatty was handed the wrong envelope, which led the wrong movie to be announced, and an entire history-making debacle ensued.

At the time, La La Land producer Jordan Horowitz told The Hollywood Reporter, “They started looking for the best picture envelope. Nobody knew where it was. Then it appeared. They opened it next to me and it said ‘Moonlight.’ And so I grabbed it. I had to fix the situation.”

Host Jimmy Kimmel seemed to patch up the situation pretty well at the time, but according to this new promo for the 2018 Oscars, he’s been deeply affected.

Check it out:

LOL. Kimmel jokes that he can’t even open the mail anymore.

Even so, the Academy has asked him to return to host the show once again — and he’s accepted the honor. At least we know that Kimmel knows how to handle stressful situations. While we’re sure that everyone will be extra cautious in making sure the correct envelopes make it to the stage this year, it’s good to know that Kimmel will be able to take charge if it happens again.

Fingers crossed for a drama-free ceremony. For Jimmy’s sake.
