There’s so very much to love about the movie Love Actually. And for many of us, our hands-down favorite scene is when Hugh Grant, aka the Prime Minister, shakes his groove thing to “Jump (For My Love)” by the Pointer Sisters. But as it turns out, Hugh Grant really didn’t get the concept.

In an interview with PeopleTV, Grant, who currently stars in Paddington 2, explained that he simply didn’t think it made sense from a logic perspective.

Now that we rewatch the scene for the nth time, Grant raises a good point. Where does the music come from? How does it stop? Is the PM’s radio hooked up to a 10 Downing Street speaker system? However, apparently Curtis simply said, “It’ll work. It’s film world.”

And work, it did.

Grant’s proud that he got through it without any “stimulants,” he said. And we’re glad he got through it too, because after 14 years, this is still one of our favorite scenes in movie history.
