Fans have been shipping Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher since their Jackie and Kelso days on That ’70s Show, but it turns out their adorable real-life romance is more Hollywood than anything they’ve ever acted on screen. In an interview on the podcast WTF with Marc Maron, Kunis revealed how Kutcher first asked her to move in with him — and it’s literally like something right out of a rom-com.

“I did a movie called Friends With Benefits. He did a movie that was very similar called No Strings Attached. We lived our movies out,” she recalled. “We were just like, let’s just hook up. Let’s have fun. We’re both single. We both trust each other. Everything’s great.”

Of course, their casual hookup evolved into something a little more complicated, and Kunis developed real feelings for her old co-star.

She said she told him how she felt and that she was going to walk away from the situation, left his house, and “bawled” the whole way home. However, that wasn’t the end of it…

And the rest is history.

Kunis also explained that while she’s sometimes sad she lost “20 years” of potential time with Kutcher, everything happened exactly how it was supposed to. “We would have never been together if we didn’t both go through what we went through in order to be the people that we were when we reconnected.”

We need an Ashton and Mila doc, and we need it soon (or at the very least, an original Lifetime movie). Your move, Hollywood.
