Hillary Clinton just made a much-needed statement about the Women's Marches
A lot of celebrities and politicians have shown their support for the Women’s March today, including presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. The former FLOTUS and Secretary of State shared a statement about the protest on Twitter this morning, letting the participants know that she is so very proud of them.
U.S. Senators Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris, singers Madonna and Janelle Monae, and actresses Scarlett Johansson and America Ferrera were just a few to give speeches at today’s event. Iconic feminist Gloria Steinem also gave a few words of inspiration to a crowd of over 125,000 in Washington.
Though Clinton didn’t make a live appearance, knowing that she’s in line with the protest means a lot!
