The trailer for Ben Schwartz and Noël Wells’ new Netflix romantic comedy is here and it’s giving us amazing (500) Days of Summer vibes. In Happy Anniversary, Sam (Schwartz) and Molly (Wells) are celebrating their third anniversary, but things quickly take a turn when Molly reveals she’s unhappy in their relationship…on their anniversary.

The film, which was written and directed by Jared Stern, follows the couple over the course of one day as they try to figure out what the future holds for them, with flashbacks to various moments in their relationship — from their first date, fight, and holiday together, to all the little moments that brought them to the crossroads they find themselves at in the present.

The Happy Anniversary trailer opens with a series of clichés from decades worth of rom-coms before it before quickly establishing that Happy Anniversary isn’t afraid to get a real about what comes after that initial foot pop kiss. We see Sam and Molly working to figure out if they actually want the same things — Molly’s feeling pressured to settle down and have kids, where Sam seems to be content with their current status — or if their relationship has finally hit a dead-end, while seeking advice from their families and friends.

And for good measure, here’s the (500) Days of Summer trailer:

Happy Anniversary clearly doesn’t plan on sugar-coating that turning point in a long-term relationship — but based on the trailer, we’re totally rooting for Sam and Molly.

After falling in love with Schwartz as Jean-Raphio Saperstein in Parks and Recreation, as well as in House of Lies and This Is Where I Leave You, we’re *very* excited to see him play a male lead. Meanwhile Wells, who starred in Master of None and recently wrote, directed, and starred in Mr. Roosevelt, has become an expert of sorts at depicting real, messy relationships onscreen. We seriously can’t wait to see this!

The movie also stars Annie Potts, Joe Pantoliano, and iZombie’s Rahul Kohli in supporting roles. Happy Anniversary will begin streaming on Netflix on March 30th.
