On Saturday, March 24th, protesters around the country will be participating in March For Our Lives rallies, seeking stricter gun control regulations and supporting the many survivors of mass shootings around the nation. It’s going to be a very important day, one that was made possible by the incredible strength of the survivors of the Parkland, Florida shooting. If you’re planning on participating, you’ll probably want to create a sign that gets attention and gets your message out there, and if you’re still looking for something to write, we’ve got plenty of ideas. Below are some gun control quotes for your March For Our Lives sign.

The survivors of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida worked with lawmakers and other shooting survivors to organize March For Our Lives to make sure students’ voices will be heard. There has never been a more important time to fight for stronger gun control laws.

If you want to feel inspired, take a look at these gun control quotes for your March For Our Lives sign, and feel free to borrow them for your own posters and/or social media posts.

Even if you can’t attend a rally, you can voice your opinions by using one of these gun control quotes on social media.

1“We cannot let a minority of people — and that’s what it is, it is a minority of people — hold a viewpoint that terrorizes the majority of people.” – Hillary Clinton

2“How many have to die before we will give up these dangerous toys?” – Stephen King

3“Fear has no place in schools.”

4“More kids, less guns.”

5“So we are speaking up for those who don’t have anyone listening to them, for those who can’t talk about it just yet, and for those who will never speak again. We are grieving, we are furious, and we are using our words fiercely and desperately because that’s the only thing standing between us and this happening again.” – Emma Gonzalez

6“Thoughts and prayers are not enough.”

7“We will not be next!”

8“Protect children, not guns.”

9“Politicians who sit in their gilded House and Senate seats funded by the NRA telling us nothing could have been done to prevent this, we call BS. They say tougher guns laws do not decrease gun violence. We call BS.” – Emma Gonzalez

10“I’m asking — no, demanding — we take action now.” – Cameron Kasky

11“Not one more. We cannot allow one more child to be shot at school.”

12“As a black boy, I hope one I day I have as many rights as a gun.”

13“Yes, people pull the trigger — but guns are the instrument of death. Gun control is necessary, and delay means more death and horror.” – Eliot Spitzer

14“We do not need guns and bombs to bring peace, we need love and compassion.” – Mother Teresa

15“You don’t spread democracy with a barrel of a gun.” – Helen Thomas

If you’re taking part in the marches tomorrow, good luck.
