Contrary to popular belief, the biggest high school rite of passage isn’t prom, or homecoming, or graduation. Nope, the most important moment of a high school career comes when you have to pick your senior quote for the yearbook.

Do you pick something funny? What if it’s funny when you pick it but it doesn’t age and by the time the yearbooks come out, it’s old and lame? Do you pick something witty and smart? What philosopher do you choose? How do you know if a quote is intellectual or just straight-up pretentious? There are so many aspects to agonize over, but one high school senior just absolutely won the yearbook quote game, and tbh no one will ever come this close to perfection ever again — so just give up now if you haven’t picked your yearbook quote yet.

Krysta Montoya, an 18-year-old high school senior from Albuquerque, New Mexico, chose, Grey’s Anatomy Season 5, Episode 6, 39:40,” as her senior yearbook quote. But when the yearbook came out, apparently people didn’t understand her quote (amateurs). So in order to stop having to explain herself, she tweeted out her explanation. And now her tweet has gone viral.

Montoya used her senior quote to reference an obscure Grey’s Anatomy line that actually spoke to who she is as a person. For those unfamiliar with this episode, it’s the one where surgeon Erica Hahn tells Callie Torres, “I am so, so, so gay.”

Montoya told The Insider that inspiration hit when she was watching Grey’s Anatomy one day and heard that line. She instantly knew that she wanted to make it her senior quote, because she had been out since she was a freshman and the quote meant something personal and important to her.

Using her senior quote as a way to silence the haters as well as memorialize her love for Grey’s Anatomy for the rest of her life? Champ status. This girl is an absolute legend.
