Warning: If you don’t have a tissue box nearby, you might want to rectify that situation ASAP because it’s about to get really onion-cutty in here.

In a video posted to Ellen DeGeneres’ Ellentube channel, a four-year-old girl named McKenna sings a song to her mom, who is battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma. The song? Martina McBride’s 2011 ballad “I’m Gonna Love You Through It,” which is about a husband supporting his wife who has cancer.

The song has been embraced for its beauty in handling the subject of being there for a loved one with cancer. Back in July, the chorus at PS22 elementary school in Staten Island, N.Y. performed the song for their teacher, Adriana Lopez, who’d been recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

In the clip, all eyes are on little McKenna at the party where she’s singing as she promises to stand by her mother – who can’t help but sing along with her daughter between wiping her tears. We aren’t sure when we’ll stop crying, too, so be warned before pressing play on the touching video below.
